Huawei has launched its Honor 5X budget smartphone in India at Rs 12,999, adding another feature-rich model to the already overcrowded affordable segment of the market. The new Huawei smartphone is in direct competition with two other newly-launched handsets: Lenovo's K4 Note and LeTV Le 1S.
Honor, a Huawei subsidiary that aims to steal some of Xiaomi thunder through low prices and online marketing, is officially launching in the US. At a CES event marked by confident proclamations about millennials and excessive hoverboard stunts, the company revealed that its 5X smartphone will be available later this month for $199.99.
