Huawei Mate 8 Review

The Huawei Mate 8 sports a 6.0 inch IPS LCD capacitive touch screen 16M colors display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and 368 ppi screen density. The phone has dimensions 157.1 x 80.6 x 7.9mm and weighing approximately 185 grams. It also comes with multi touch feature and Huawei EMUI 4.0.

Huawei Honor 7 Plus certified by Chinese regulator TENAA

A new Huawei smartphone has been certified by Chinese certification and regulatory authority TENAA. Listed as Honor KIW-AL20, the smartphone is speculated to be premium version of Huawei Honor 7, Huawei Honor 7 Plus.

Huawei Honor 7 upgrade to Android 6.0 Marshmallow

Huawei India company has begun rolling out its Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for the Honor 7 smartphone. The company announced this in a post on Facebook.

The smartphone maker put out a post on its official Facebook page and also has a strange note at the bottom asking users to register with their details for their respective OTA updates. Registering for the update requires one to provide their handset's IMEI number and current software version. According to Huawei, the update will hit the device within 24 to 48 hours after the registration.

Huawei P9 or Honor 7X smartphone coming next month

Huawei's latest flagship chipset named Kirin 950 was unveiled recently, and the Huawei Mate 8 has been the first device to flaunt the chipset. Well, a new Huawei phone has been spotted on Geekbench website and is running the same Kirin 950 SoC. According to GizmoChina, the phone could be the next flagship Huawei P9 or the Huawei Honor 7X.

Huawei P9 Smartphone to arrive In March 2016

Huawei is expected to release another flagship phone next year rumored to be the Huawei P9. The Chinese company's new handset is rumored to be released in three different variants, and high end features.

Huawei P9 Specification and dual camera setup leak

In case you remember, we had brought you the exclusive leaked image of a pair of dual camera modules for the Huawei P9 back in October. These labels were apparently made to be fixed over the camera. And going by the two cut outs for the camera, one for the flash, and one for the laser AF, the only logical suggestion behind this design is that the P9 will be boasting of a dual camera set-up.

Huawei P9 will be released in March 2016

Succeeding the Ascend P7 and Huawei P8 (pictured below) was released in April this year as a thin smartphone made out of premium materials. Not long after its launch, we heard that Huawei was already working on a successor, which should be called Huawei P9.
