Huawei has confirmed that the Huawei P8 will receive Android 6.0 Marshmallow, and has reportedly said that the P8 will be the first of its devices to receive it. It hasn’t offered an ETA, however.

Huawei Mate 8 Camera and Fingerprint Scanner

According to rumors, the Huawei Mate8 will arrive in three versions. A new photo of a handset alleged to be the Mate 8 recently surfaced, which featured a design that is quite similar to the Huawei Mate S.

The new picture (below) reveals a round spot which is fingerprint scanner, although there is no confirmation that the phone is truly the Mate 8.

We already know that Huawei intends to announce their Mate 8 phablet on November 26th. The company has released an official teaser which was quite revealing recently, and the company's CEO has also confirmed that the phablet is on its way. The Huawei Mate 8 is rumored to come in three versions – one with a 6.2" screen, one with 6" and a third, smaller one with 5.5" or 5.7" screen. We've already seen live images of one of those versions, now there's another one.

The Huawei Mate 8 smartphone - which recently cleared China's 3C and is expected to be unveiled on November 26 - will be available in several variants differing in screen sizes and other hardware specs.

Looking at the rear side of the device, though, you'll see the camera sensor, dual-LED flash and a fingerprint scanner which have surfaced already, quite recently actually. We still haven't seen a Mate 8 leak in full, but it seems like we know what will the upper rear portion of the device look like thanks to this image.

Huawei Mate 8 spotted on China's 3C Quality Certification website. The listing of the mobile phone on the Chinese website suggests that the Huawei Mate will support a big battery and fast charging, and will be release on Nov. 26.

Huawei P9 Max 6.2 inch, Kirin 950 chipset Leaked AnTuTu Benchmark

Huawei P9 series are slowly building up speed. The Huawei P9max, codenamed P950S, passed through AnTuTu, revealing some interesting specs. Its predecessor, the Huawei P8max, had a massive 6.8" 1080p screen, but the P9max will be different.

The device, which went through AnTuTu benchmarks by the P9 50S moniker, would be sporting a 6.2-inch screen size with 1600x2560 pixel resolution display. The pixel density would be 486ppi. The results also show the inclusion of Huawei's home-made octa-core Kirin 950 processor along with Mali-T880 MP4 GPU and 4GB RAM.

Huawei Mate 8 Antutu benchmark scores 89,630 points

Huawei is gearing up to launch their latest high-end smartphone dubbed as the Mate 8. After months of just being rumored, the CEO of the Chinese company finally confirmed that the device is coming.

We've seen quite a few leaks and rumors regarding this smartphone thus far. Huawei has even released a teaser image on the company's Weibo (Chinese social network) account, confirming that the Huawei Mate 8 will launch on November 26th. The phone has popped up on GFXBench quite recently, and has been benchmarked on AnTuTu with a whopping score of 89630. That is actually the highest score on AnTuTu to date.

Huawei new phone specs leaked, could it be the Mate 8

Chinese company Huawei is getting ready to reveal yet another top-tier smartphone, called the Huawei Mate 8, according to an invite it just sent to the media, altering them to a press event set for 26 November.

According to it, referred to as "Huawei NXT-AL10", will spout a large 6.0-inch display, just like previous rumors have suggested. However, another recent source hints at QHD resolution, whereas this result suggest a FullHD panel. It might be a detection issues or perhaps even a forced resolution, as the rest of the data does seem to mostly match up.

Huawei's Honor phones will be upgraded to Android 6.0 Marshmallow

According to a report published today, some of those who own the Huawei Honor 7, will soon be part of a beta test for the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update. The final version of the update is expected to start getting pushed out in February. Phones receiving it will include the Honor 7, along with the Huawei Honor 4C, Huawei Honor 4X, Huawei Honor 6 and Huawei Honor 6 Plus.
