Although Huawei has already confirmed that its next flagship, the Huawei P9 is launching soon, supposed leaks still keep on appearing. New images of the Huawei P9 have leaked online. In addition, speculations suggest that the new flagship may have been spotted in a recent benchmark listing, too.
According to AnTuTu listing via Weibo, the Kirin 955 chipset-powered Huawei P9 has Mali-T880 MP4 GPU onboard. This device comes backed by 4 GB of RAM, similar to high-end flagships like the Galaxy S7 and LG G5.
Speaking of benchmark score, the Huawei P9 has reportedly amassed 96,043 points. When compared to the recent releases like Samsung Galaxy S7, LG G5 and Xiaomi Mi5, which scored more than 130K, the P9’s Kirin 955 chipset and the Full HD resolution do not stack up.
According to this report, Huawei actually plans to introduce four P9 devices this time around, not three. The Huawei P9, P9 Lite, P9 Max and P9 Plus are expected to land on April 6th, at least according to this rumor. The Huawei P9 Plus and P9 Max will sport the same specs revealed by AnTuTu yesterday, but they will offer different screen sizes. The P9 Plus is reportedly going to ship with a 5.2-inch fullHD panel, while the P9 Max will sport a 6.8-inch display, though we still don’t know if it will be a fullHD or a QHD display, as far as resolution is concerned. The P9 Max is also said to sport a pressure sensitive display, and the dual camera setup.
Now, the pricing for the P9 models leaked as well. The Huawei P9 Lite is expected to cost 1,888 Yuan ($292), while the regular Huawei P9 will be priced at 3088 ($477). The rumor says the Huawei P9 Plus will be available for 3,688 Yuan ($570), while the huge Huawei P9 Max phablet could cost 4,088 Yuan ($633). Keep in mind these are only rumors at this point, so take this info with a grain of salt.
