Gadget fiends who loved Huawei MediaPad M2 8.0 are going to love the next one in the company's tablet lineup, the MediaPad M2 10.0.

Announced earlier this month at the CES in Las Vegas, Huawei's latest tablet entry into the U.S. market finally got approved by the Federal Communications Commission. As a result, a U.S. launch of the device could drop as early as the first quarter of 2016.

Like every other device manufacturer nowadays, Huawei has all caught up to Apple in the design department - the Huawei MediaPad M2 10.0 is made out of metal, too. The tablet follows the same high-end design language of the Nexus 6P, itself a well-made device.

The MediaPad M2 10.0 gets even fancier with four Harman Kardon speakers at each corner of the device. Though we wish the speakers were front-facing instead (since it's easy to cup and cover two of the bottom speakers when holding it in the hands), since they're driven by a Clari-fi Audio Restoration and SWS 2.0 Surround Sound, they do sound pretty sweet to the ears.

The cheapest variant of the MediaPad M2 10.0 comes equipped with a paltry 16 GB of storage and 2 GB of RAM. Users wouldn't want to be downloading too many movies or even be using too many apps at one time on the standard model.

Expect the entry level MediaPad M2 10.0 to start at $349 and up to $469 for the cream-of-the-crop 64 GB model that also comes bundled with the M-Pen.
