Huawei Mate 9 may come with 6GB RAM 256 ROM

The Huawei Mate 9 is expected to arrive in the not-too-distant future, with the Chinese company's November 3rd launch event almost certain to spawn the successor to the Mate 8. Recently, it's been said that a standard, 1080p version of the 5.9-inch monster could be accompanied by a dual-curved variant boasting a quad-HD resolution.

For the most part, the rumor mill has pointed to a flat but large panel for the Huawei Mate 9. During the past week or so, talk of a curved 'Huawei Mate 9 Pro' has gathered steam, substantiated by a leak from the ever-reliant Evan Blass.
The render he has shared looks legitimate enough, and is very much in alignment with the official-looking Mate 9 press image. But in sharing details of Huawei's display suppliers on Weibo, an analyst has seemingly indicated that the curved configuration won't be offered.

Sun Changxu notes that the main Huawei Mate 9 will include a 5.88-inch Full HD (1080 x 1920) LCD display as suspected, supplied by both JDI and LG. A Samsung-supplied OLED panel of 5.5 inches in diameter is also mentioned -- likely specific to the rumored Huawei Mate S2 given that the current Mate S is a 5.5-inch affair.

The Huawei Mate 9 will have design aspects similar to its predecessor, the Huawei Mate 8. Rumors suggest that the Mate 9 will include a dual-lens camera and a fingerprint scanner at the back of the device.

The camera is said to be similar to the one found in the Huawei P9, which was released in the first half of 2016. The Mate 9 may come with a 5.9-inch QHD display, 6 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of storage capacity.

Previous leaks hint that the Mate 9 may be available in a number of hues, including Amber Gold, Amber Gray, Ceramic White, Rose Gold, Sky Gray, Moonlight Silver, Mocha Gold, Enamel Gloss Black and Champagne Gold.
