Huawei Honor Holly 2 Plus will be released on 28th January

Huawei is all set to launch Huawei Honor 5X in India on 28th January. However, according to our internal sources, Huawei will also unveil one more smartphone at the event dubbed Honor Holly 2 Plus in India.

Huawei P9, P9 Lite, P9 Max, P9 Plus

Huawei's upcoming Huawei P9 flagship smartphone will have as many as four variants, according to a new report. Aside from the standard P9, the other three variants will be the more budget-friendly P9lite, a P9max (which has already been spotted on AnTuTu), and an unnamed higher-specced P9.

Huawei will be launching no fewer than four handsets as members of its family of Huawei P9 flagships this year, according to a person with knowledge of the company's plans. Although detailed specifications were not shared, this source revealed a number of facts about the upcoming devices.

Huawei achieve 1Gbps+ speeds in LTE-A trial

Huawei have announced they achieved 4G peak download speeds exceeding 1Gbps during a trial at M1's LTE-A test lab.

The demonstration also achieved peak upload speeds of over 130Mbps, marking the first time Huawei and an operator partner have achieved such a high combined download and upload speeds during a trial.

The chipset comes with support for LTE Cat.10 specification, and is a pretty decent performer, seeing as it scores over 79,000 points on AnTuTu. Now, however, there seems to be a newer version of the chipset that's being readied by Huawei, if a new listing on the Geekbench database is anything to go by.
